Recently, a teacher, a garbage collector and a lawyer wound up together at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter informed them that in order to get into Heaven, they would each have to answer one question.
St. Peter addressed the teacher and asked, "What was the name of the ship that crashed into the iceberg? They just made a movie about it."
The teacher answered quickly, "That would be the Titanic."
St. Peter let him through the gate.
St. Peter turned to the garbage man and, figuring Heaven didn't really need all the odors that this guy would bring with him, decided to make the question a little harder.
So he asked, "How many people died on the ship?"
Fortunately for him, the garbage man had just seen the movie and answered, "1,228."
"That's right! You may enter."
St. Peter then turned to the lawyer. "Name them."

Rambling Stuff Under Construction
I've been working on Mike's blog since my return from our boating weekend. I'm moving posts and comments from this blog to another blog and when I get that done I'll move that blog over here and then reload the harbor template that Mike likes. In any event Mike has promised not to moderate comments until I'm done. If he does moderate comments then I have to move them as well. Believe me I've enough to move. I'm only on January 12 and I have a ways to go. So be patient. Mike isn't ignoring you, he's only doing what I've ask him to do. I'm hoping to have everything up and running tomorrow sometime. Comments have been turned off on this post. On purpose.

My Birthday
The seizures have not been fun. Nor have the numerous suicide attempts. Gratefully I have survived all that nonsense. I will most likely be in some form of therapy the rest of my life, so be it. I do know that no matter how bad I think I have it, there are others that have it a lot worse off that I do. I'm grateful for all the creature comforts that Celestine and I have. I never for one minute take them for granted.
I'm grateful for the friends and family that I have as well as all my cyber friends. All in all it has been a great ride and I look forward to the future. Especially March 1 2010. Celestine and I will be married 30 years.
